Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) - A brief summary

Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is a system for ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards.

GMP helps to ensure the consistent quality and safety of products by focusing attention on five key elements, which are often referred to as the 5 P’s of GMP:

  • people
  • premises
  • processes
  • products
  • procedures (or paperwork)

We’ve taken this very seriously from the very beginning, choosing to only work with suppliers who can provide lot numbers and certificates of analysis for their products. Every ingredient we purchase is recorded into our production management system. Formulas are then created using these inventory items, ensuring that our final production batches are traceable to the ingredients used for each specific lot.

While this takes a great deal of time and effort, it is a foundational element to our business that we are committed to in order to ensure transparency and trust in our products.
