Warm Weather Shipping Policy for Body Butters
As temperatures rise in the spring and summer months, we take extra precautions to ensure your Purely Maxwell body butters arrive in optimal condition. Due to the natural ingredients and whipped texture of our body butters, they are sensitive to heat and may melt during transit. To minimize this risk, all orders containing body butters will be shipped exclusively via UPS Overnight or 2-Day service, regardless of the total order amount.
Shipping Charges
Orders over $59 that include body butters do not qualify for free shipping during warm weather months. This is because we must use insulated packaging and ice packs to maintain product quality, which increases shipping costs. Shipping charges for expedited UPS service will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Why We Do This
We are committed to keeping our body butters simple and clean, without added stabilizers or synthetic ingredients. Reformulating for heat stability would require additives that compromise the purity and texture of our products. Our current approach ensures you receive the product as intended, even if it means higher shipping costs during warmer months.
What to Expect Upon Delivery
Despite our best efforts, some melting may occur if packages are left outside or experience delays. If your body butter arrives melted or appears half full, rest assured it is still safe and effective to use. Our body butters are whipped to incorporate air, making them light and fluffy when cool. When melted, the product settles and may look like less volume, but the net weight remains accurate as labeled.

How do you ship?
We ship orders via USPS, UPS and Fedex using the least amount of recyclable packaging material possible. Shipping options, including express services, are available during checkout.
Purely Maxwell offers free standard ground shipping (no code needed) on orders $59 or more within the contiguous US.
Where do you ship?
Currently, Purely Maxwell offers shipment of online orders to addresses in the US only. We will be extended our reach to Canada Soon! For orders to Canada, the customer is responsible for all taxes and import duties, taxes and brokerage fees (if any apply). These fees are not including in the shipping that we charge and may be charged to you when your package reaches the border.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are packed and shipped during normal business hours and within 0-2 business days from receipt of payment. Our business days are Monday through Friday. (Except for Holidays) Please note that we do not ship on weekends. Delivery takes approximately 2 to 5 business days to arrive once shipped -- depending on your distance from Bend, Oregon.
How will I know my order has been shipped?
When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming your order. Once your order is fulfilled and shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. If you have any questions regarding your shipment, please email info@purelymaxwell.com and include your order number.

Flat Rate $6.95 For all Contiguous US Orders (Standard ground service only)

Missing Item Policy
Although we check and double-check orders prior to shipping, mistakes do happen. If an item is missing please accept our apologies and let us know. We can ship it out to you or include it in your next order. If you receive something additional that you did not order, enjoy it or share it with someone!
