Under eye bags or dark circles, although commonly associated with aging, can also caused by allergic reactions, fluid retention, eye infection, irritation and more, while wrinkles around the eyes will generally develop due to repetitive motions over time (ie. smiling, frowning, squinting). For these reason, it is very important to take care of the area around the eyes with gentle and natural products, such as this balm, applying each night after cleansing the skin and again in the morning for a fresh start to the day.
Key Ingredients:
ARJUNA EXTRACT - Combines different mechanisms of actions thanks to key natural molecules extracted from the Terminalia Arjuna tree: Terpenoids with cardiotonic properties, and flavonoids (quercetin, rutin) and phenolic acids (gallic acid, ellagic acid) with strong anti-free radical capacity.
-> Visibly helps to reduce eye puffiness and attenuates wrinkles and fine lines under eyes.
-> May minimize blue pigmentation of dark circles and skin pigmentation of eye area becomes more homogeneous, less colored.
-> Helps to stimulate microcirculation around the eye area.
COLD-PRESSED COFFEE SEED OIL - packed with antioxidants that help protect your skin from free radical damage. Some studies have shown that coffee (specifically coffee oil) has similar effects on the skin as the anti-aging skincare ingredient hyaluronic acid. Coffee seed oil can increase collagen and elastin, making the skin look and feel firmer. The caffeine component of coffee, when applied topically can improve circulation and plump up the skin, helping to diminish the appearance of dark circles and puffiness.
FRANKINCENSE ESSENTIAL OIL - wonderful for all skin types and is especially good for aging skin. It has a tightening effect on skin, helping increase blood flow which causes tissues to contract, which may reduce puffiness and fade the appearance of wrinkles. Frankincense oil is also known for its ability to lighten darker areas and even skin tone, which may help improve the appearance of dark circles under the eye. Further, it has anti-inflammatory properties that are beneficial for reducing swelling, inflammation and puffiness in skin.
CYPRESS ESSENTIAL OIL - beneficial to help reducing swelling around the eye. Cypress Essential Oil has a diuretic effect that helps the body flush out excess water, salt and toxins. The removal of this excess fluid helps to reduce the appearance of under eye bags and associated discoloration. Additionally, this oil can help blood vessels under the surface of the skin to contract, stimulating blood flow, which then causes the contraction of muscles and skin tissue. The tightening of skin tissues helps to eliminate puffy eyes and may even fade the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
GERMAN CHAMOMILE - considered a bit stronger than its sister Roman chamomile, although their properties remain similar. German Chamomile is high in anti-inflammatory compounds that help to reduce swelling, which can help alleviate puffy eyes. Another benefit apart from its calming properties is its ability to lighten darker areas of skin and even overall skin tone.

How do you ship?
We ship orders via USPS, UPS and Fedex using the least amount of recyclable packaging material possible. Shipping options, including express services, are available during checkout.
Purely Maxwell offers free standard ground shipping (no code needed) on orders $59 or more within the contiguous US.
Where do you ship?
Currently, Purely Maxwell offers shipment of online orders to addresses in the US only. We will be extended our reach to Canada Soon! For orders to Canada, the customer is responsible for all taxes and import duties, taxes and brokerage fees (if any apply). These fees are not including in the shipping that we charge and may be charged to you when your package reaches the border.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are packed and shipped during normal business hours and within 0-2 business days from receipt of payment. Our business days are Monday through Friday. (Except for Holidays) Please note that we do not ship on weekends. Delivery takes approximately 2 to 5 business days to arrive once shipped -- depending on your distance from Bend, Oregon.
How will I know my order has been shipped?
When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming your order. Once your order is fulfilled and shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. Although we check and double-check orders prior to shipping, mistakes do happen. If an item is missing please accept our apologies and let us know.
